The palette on this one is very different for my previous series, and I was enjoying the opportunity to change my palette.  I like to do this, although people have expressed surprise that I do play with color in each painting.  I love color, and the chance to experiment.  I was also experimenting with form in this painting, and the perception of the landscape.
