I was in Florida this August for vacation, and it rained the whole time. Apparently this was the effects of hurricanes Andrew & Alice, both in the vicinity of the Gulf.  I was back not two days when Charley went through and tore up everyones lives; it still seems unbelievable.

While I was there I was painting this little painting, about hurricanes in general, trying to convey the feeling of the wind and clouds (which are as amazing as they can be deadly).
