Just another one of those lovely resilient pine trees one can find in Florida now, several years after the hurricanes hit the Gulf Coast. These trees fascinate me. If a tree, something we generally consider to be a slow, solid and immovable object, can find it in itself to be resilient in the face of devastating change, perhaps humanity can still learn from natures quiet examples. We just have to take the time to really see them.
