"Community of Choice" is so titled because as an artist I created this landscape from many different sketches of trees. Each tree is from a separate location in and around the Toronto area and southern Ontario.  Some are from parks, others from a strangers front lawn, while still another from the front of a business building.  In the final result, they came together as a community; a truly 'Canadian' community.  Not only are the colours and foliage indicative of our beautiful Canadian landscape, but also the reality of the fabulous mixture of cultures and races that come together from many backgrounds to create this community.
